World War II was a continuation of World War I in many considerations. It was a great war that not only involved the alliance of many countries but also caused the death of a million people in large part of the world. Among the causes which leaded to the war, were the Italian facism, Japanese Militancy, and the German national superiority pride provoked by Hitler. Through the document of the history, here are the factors those influence the emergence of the World War II and how did it affect the situation of the involved countries.
World War II was a start of the emergence of two superior military alliance block of many countries with different ideologies and principles. The Allies block comprised Soviet Union, United States of America, France, United Kingdom, and other nations. On the other side was Axis block that consisted of Germany, Italy, and Japan. There were many major concepts of politic those influence the ideology of each block. German, with its Nazi party, provoked by Hitler, was likely to be the most controversial policy in the world during that period and they also made an alliance with Italy and Japan. The war started with the German troop invaded Poland in 1939 that triggered a fluctuation from British and France to attack Germany. So, the question is, what were the causes of World War II? Perhaps, I am going to reveal few speculations among the causes of this massive war.
There were various factors, but the most influencing was the impact of World War I itself. The first world war leaded to create two groups of numerous nations those were West and Central blocks. Not so long after the war happened, some leaders of particular nations held a meeting to decide a peace between two blocks. The treaty was then called Versailles because it was held at the Versailles palace in Paris. The rethe treaty claimed German for a limitation of military movement and responsibility toward the previous war by paying a lot number of money. The reason was to restrict German for any chance that can cause the further war. The decision of this treaty made some of German people felt worried not only for financial loss but also for the consequence that hurt their national pride. In this case, Adolf Hitler saw an opportunity to take a power and rose an activation. German people say Hitler with his Nazism concept brought German to achieve a good prospect. While Germany saw the emergence of Adolf Hitler with his Nazism, Italy testified the rise of Benito Mussolini and Fascism. In other part of the world, the Japan wanted to expand its territorial by invading China. To restrain any opportunities for United States to invade other countries with high level of natural resources, Japan attacked the U.S military base. This accident caused the U.S to encounter the war.
The history recorded that the effects of World War II were worse than the previous one. It not only incriminated many nations but also brought certain pain and sorrow for the nations those involved. Approximately 22 - 25 million soldiers and 38 - 55 million civilians were killed in the war, many more were left homeless. The Holocaust also took a large part of victims that around 6 millions Jews were killed by Nazi. Several Countries in Asia and Europe had to witness the destruction of their own cities. The destroyed cities, especially for Hiroshima and Nagasaki were the traces and evidence of cruelty and brutality of the war. Many nations after the occurrence of this war were then trying to sustain the peace by creating some treaties and peace-building conference.
To conclude, the World War II was mainly affected by self-interest of certain nations but it actually leaded to the boarder problems those influence the movement and clash in many countries. The war not only craved a thousand pain and bad memories among the victims, but also becomes a life lesson for all of us to me remembered. We know that the clash, dispute, and misunderstanding are inevitable, but there would always be some ways to sustain the peace, for us and for our future generation.
